Isn't she gorgeous? I love this child.
She was the very first person to ever have a sleep over with my kids.
About 10:30 at night, she gave them Pepsi. Their first Pepsi. It was awesome.
You know I love her, but how do you think my kids feel about her? They like...attack
her with hugs when they see her. She's a punkin.

I *do* love this field, but I may love these cheeks more. They're so round, so dimply, so perfect. What beautiful children and a beautiful family! I photographed this little boy when he was only a few days old, you can imagine my surprise when I saw him so big! Have I ever said, I LOVE watching kids grow? Yep. I sure do. Love watching families grow, too. Multiply the gorgeousness!

Yes, this family is gorgeous and made me cry at the shoot. They are beautiful on the inside AND out. Quick and super funny story (that I only wish would transfer in type as funny as it is in person) :: when they came in to order their images, the brought their youngest daughter with them. She's from China and they have only had her in their family for a little while.
She wanted a snack and mom says, "say please"...so she responded, "piiiip?" Sweetest look on her face and most precious voice, sounded nothing like please but was the best word I've ever heard a child say.

I love that I was able to encounter this family and hear their little punkin in her first stages of learning how to communicate with English words. What a sweet little blessing. :)

The mommy of this precious child is a photographer in Knoxville. She has never allowed anyone to professionally photograph her daughter (obviously because she is mucho capable). She happened to see a life, actually on my blog one day, then we found "the field" and decided to do impromptu mini sessions within a few days later...so she said, why not?

Can I tell you how glad I am that she did!?!!!! My life may have not had the same amounts of sweetness in it had I not met her little girl. She's my new pal. What a beautiful, giggly, precious little soul this child is. I love her to bits!

Crazy. I love watching kids grow. Especially when they're fun and sweet like this crew! The youngest in the pics was miserable while we were shooting...her allergies were just awful and I never heard her complain one time. Amazing. Behind every great set of kids, you'll find great parents...holds true in this family, too!

Getting to know families through photoshoots, seems incredibly ridiculous to say out loud, but for real...it does happen. I love having the opportunity to get to meet wonderful people. Grateful they are trusting us to document their precious punkins! Such an honor.
