here's our last session...he's getting much, much too big!!

So in love with watching families grow. This particular fam is a treasure to me. Our paths have become somewhat intertwined over the last few years and I'm so enjoying getting to know them.

He has an successful chiropractic business here in Johnson City and she does all things whole health and creative. She introduces me to yummy-good-for-me-things like Wildtree and ways to use Agave Nectar AND she does my hair, too. They're both awesomely creative and I love spending time with them creating things....like memories for their family. :)

Smart, beautiful, driven, stylish and willing to do what it takes to get some great images!!! (including braving tough terrain in heels, working around a herd of cats, getting great clothes dirty AND freezing in the rain to get images that don't look "wintery")

How lucky am I to get to photograph such incredible people!? I love that she allowed her sister to share her senior session with her. What fun girls and what beautiful images!

I met this family a couple of years ago through my husband's company Christmas party. One of the daughters and the dad actually went to Rwanda with Hope 2.2.1. last summer, so, I've had the pleasure and good fortune to get to know them very well over the past year. They are not only tall in stature, but super big in faith and family. We were talking once about different business and leadership books and I will never forget what Dave said...he said, "Yeah, I should probably read those books, but really I just learn what I need from the bible." What a strong statement that was to me! Such a beautiful example.

There was a moment during their ordering session when their son made me cry like a baby...(I know, shocking)...he said, during the photo shoot, when I was taking pictures of his sisters, he couldn't help think of how beautiful they were. Are you serious? I love this family. I want my son to talk that way about my daughter when they grow up! Teach me Dave and Jennifer! Teach me! You're family is incredible and I'm blessed to have been able to document this time in your journey. Thank you for sharing your sweetness with me.

ps...please don't hate me for posting my favorite shot...second to last. ;)

Kevin and I met this family when we started attending our church (Harvest Community) back in 2002. They are just beautiful people. So laid back, yet so driven for more out of life. Very inspiring to be around. We've been through so much growth together in the past 9 years, I'm excited to see what the next 9 hold for us!

You can see these images in real life if you visit the Johnson City Keller Williams location. She has a beautiful wall grouping of these images displayed there...see before and after below!

Grace Church in Kingsport did a crazy cool outreach around Christmas called "The Big Give". I think they gave away a car or something insane like that. I dig creative churches. Anyway...we got to be a part of the spirit of giving during that time and THIS was the proud recipient!

I loved getting to meet her and her mom and had too much fun photographing her session. Did I mention they made me a scarf? It's just like the one she's wearing at the end of this post. How cool is that? Neat people.

Neat concept.
