This session is chocked full of nature-al things - water, fire, wind, stone, organics.....
laughter, relationships, love and goodness.
What a wonderful idea to bring their couch and firepit! By brining these elements into their session, they created a comfortable and familiar place for them to be together. Then the magic just begins in front of the lens. Right, Amber? Magic. :)
This drop dead gorgeous mom is a photographer in Chattanooga. She totally gets the fact that fleeting moments in life and relationships are worthy of documenting and I'm blown away that she trusts me to be one who can do that for her family. This is Drew's Senior year and he wanted his session to take place at their farm up in Virginia. Love this place! You can see their last session from 2009 here . Funny, I just looked that link up to share with you and read what I had wrote from 2 years ago and do you know I started that post the same exact way I started this one. Predictable much? Hey, truth is truth. When you're beautiful inside and out, people are just gonna talk about you like that. You rock, Kathy.
This kid makes me smile so much my cheeks hurt after I leave him! I've photographed him since he was just a baby...you may be able to tell in these images that they were expecting again and now they have 2 more! Twins!!
I told you I was behind in posting. :)
Well, okay, alot behind....but who's counting? Cute pictures of cute families are in season anytime, right? :)
Wanna know a completely useless but fun fact about this family? April did Fisher's nursery in Sock Monkey before Sock Monkey really made his come back. She's a trendsetter. This family makes me laugh...prolly more than I make them laugh. All those smiles you see in their images here...it's because they're so stinkin' funny they crack themselves up. I like funny people. :)
