Kevin and I met this family when we started attending our church (Harvest Community) back in 2002. They are just beautiful people. So laid back, yet so driven for more out of life. Very inspiring to be around. We've been through so much growth together in the past 9 years, I'm excited to see what the next 9 hold for us!

You can see these images in real life if you visit the Johnson City Keller Williams location. She has a beautiful wall grouping of these images displayed there...see before and after below!

Another lil' military fella came in town for the holidays!

This family rocks. They're smart, funny, they truly act as though they like each other AAAAND they can brave some serious cold weather to have family pictures made! I am so, so glad that I don't have to look cute and be photographed while freezing. I promise I would pale in comparison to the sheer talent that this group had in accomplishing that task.

Then, this is how we used the images from this session to breathe life on their walls at home.
(I can either apologize for the quality or not show you....taken from across the room on my cell phone, then cropped. ick..you still get the jist...LOVE IT!!!!)

all in the family , big kids | February 25, 2011
...and so did I. Oh my goodness. Talk about emotions flowing when a soldier comes home for Christmas for the first time in 3 years..... wow. Powerful stuff.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude that they allowed me to photograph their family together for this beautiful reunion. My favorite part of their actual photography session was watching the mom look at her son....every time...pure joy and pride. It was beautiful to watch.

Thank you sweet soldier for fighting for our country. You're a hero!

last year's session if you enjoy watching kids grow up...

This incredible-down-to-earth-country-and-city-style family has been with me since their wedding. They feel like home to me...when we talk, I feel a sense of family. A little weird, a lot cool that 5 years of simply "taking someone's pictures" can build such a beautiful relationship. So grateful that I get to do what I do with the people that I get to do it with. Makes my heart happy.

And Happy Ava! Look at this princess! Do you think she enjoyed the cupcake at all?
We spent her birthday morning downtown and they even gave her birthday gift to her during our session. Talk about someone feeling special? I can't believe I got to be there for all of that! So wonderful. So awesome. So love this family. The last picture of them is perfect.

Beautiful inside and out.
Talented beyond measure.
Heart and drive.
Tender and sweet.
Fun, funny and flipping hilarious.

These people make me smile and inspire me to be more. I love getting to share life with them!
Having the blessing of documenting the growth of their family is just a HUGE bonus.

Found an image of little guy from our last session (2nd image down)...look how much he's changed! Unbelievable. The value of photography right before your very eyes.
