I just can't NOT plug this church. <------rockin website, by the way.
Meet the pastor of Grace Church and his family. What an incredible family and incredibly passionate heart for people these guys are! I heard stories about them from some of my great friends, then I got to meet them. So laid back, so calm, cool and collected and so gracious!
I love what they're doing in Kingsport changing lives. The website can tell you much more than I can. Don't leave without checking it out.

You might remember this family from last year...one of my all time fave shots at the top of this old post.
They've since added another beautiful baby boy to their family. As I drove back out to their place again (located in the middle of nowhere), my senses did exactly the same thing they did the time before...I was in a total state of peace. Farm land, organic, hard work, good old days, my great grandpa...these are the only thoughts that come to mind when my surroundings are miles and miles of farm land. Super nice change of pace.
Basically, for their session this year, we just did the same thing we did last time. I love "seeing" families just where they are...their journey LOOKS so specific to who they truly are, these images couldn't look the same if I went back and "did" the same type of session every year for the next 5 years. Every session would include sweet tea, tractors, fields, trucks, dogs, farm equipment and lotsa love. Excited to repeat it again and again and again. :)

What a serene place to shoot! This family found this great spot to do their session, so we trekked up the mountain and spent an hour playing and sweating together. Glamourous, heh? ;)
Sweat may not be glamourous, but I think the images are. I love the softness of their clothing choices with the organic surroundings. Beautiful love in this family, absolutely hysterical little boy and this baby has cheeks that I could chew on for days. Enjoy watching the love!

What beautiful, breathtaking little girls! Their eyes mesmerize me. They're gorgeous, intelligent and talented (as in, all of them).
Love being around the chaos and busy-ness of their life.
Watching the mother of these children buzz around with all of her creativity and energy
is absolutely mind boggling. I don't know how she does it but it's truly amazing to witness.
And yes, they all take violin...I feel like a lazy mom. Ha!
